Xcelsius fail to implement support for =INDIRECT(), again.
You can not create any serious Xcelsius application without =INDIRECT()

Either, the Xcelsius group don’t fully understand Excel, or they can’t make the code. Either way, it been a disappoint for too many years.

Xcelsius снова не поддерживает =ДВССЫЛ(). Нельзя создать сложное приложение без =ДВССЫЛ().

Во всяком случае, или разработчики Xcelsius (SAP BO) не разбираются в MS EXCEL, или они не могут осилить код. Во всяком случае, это огорчает уже много лет.

After install SP3, my Xcelsius doesn’t export file to BO.
This option in menu is not able to click.
I’m use Office 2003 Pro

Hi Victor,
I did face this issues and the following work around worked for me, try if it works for you:

Try importing an Excel spread sheet and when xcelsius freezes (just wait for about 30secs) then open Task Manager-> look for application “Microsoft compatibility checker”-> Right click on it and click “Switch to” then a small popup window appears->click on continue button then the pop-up disappears-> Then go back to xcelsius window and you will see the spread sheet imported(This tip works only with xcelsius sp2 and above)

Hi Kalyan,

Before I installed the SP3, I couldn’t import my excel file, even the very simple excel file. I thought the problem would be got rid after I installed the SP3, unfortunately it persists.

Please advise me how to solve this problem.

Victor,

The Enterprise patch is for all versions of Xcelsius 2008 except Xcelsius 2008 Present which has its own patch. The Key Code which you enter will take care of the version you are supposed to get as a part of your license.

Just download the executable and run it. Make sure that you uninstall previous instances of Xcelsius.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing me this SP3 update. I have visited the download web page, but the SP3 available are only for Present and Enterprise versions.

Since mine is engage version, so please kindly advise me where to find the SP3 for Engage to download.
