Hi

I am intersted in developing XCelsius Apps for profit. I guess you also had intentions for the same. Did you get more info from SAP about the SAP. I read for XCelsius Engage licensing that -

"self-contained dashboards and dashboards connected to live data sources – as long as they are not connected to BusinessObjects platforms or distributed as part of a commercial sales, rental, or lease."

Any thoughts about it.

I have some questions on xcelsius.

Q1. Which version of xcelsius is perfect for corporate user.
Q2. can we connect this with any RDBMS? if yes then how?
Q3. is there any limitation of rows in excel.

Hello,
          I am having the following questions:

1. What could be the price of 5 named user licenses for Xcelsius Present 2008, if I need to make interactive dashboards for my company.

2. Can you provide me with a demo on how is it possible to connect to database and refresh the live data.

3. Can I get a trial Key for the same for 6 months is it possible?

Thanks in advance.

@Tom:

I believe so. As long as the data is not connected to any live source. Still I would consult SAP on getting license questions cleared.

Does the license permit me to insert a calculator into a PowerPoint slide show that I sell to others?

@ Josh

When they say Company DB, they meant via XML, Web Services or QAAWS. There is no data connection (ODBC) yet to directly connect to Databases.

Can you clarify what they mean by connecting to company databases? As I understand it, you can only connect to databases by using web services, like QaaWS..
